About Me

Welcome to my world of health, nutrition, and holistic healing! I’m thrilled to have you here. Let me share a little bit about myself and what led me to this incredible journey.

“She makes healthy taste good.” That’s what a dinner guest once said about my cooking, and it perfectly captures my passion for health and nutrition. I’ve come a long way from being just an average person when it comes to health. Over the years, I’ve learned how to extract maximum flavor and nutrition from the foods I love. It brings a smile to my face knowing that I can enjoy delicious meals while nourishing my body.

While nutrition is a major focus for me, it’s not the only area of health that captures my interest. You’ll find me writing about a wide range of topics, including recipes, natural alternatives to over-the-counter drugs, emotional health, Bible truths and so much more. As my blog grows, I’ll be sharing my personal journey of overcoming health challenges. From battling recurrent sinus infections and bronchitis to conquering severe food intolerances and migraines, I’ve experienced firsthand the transformative power of holistic healing. I can’t wait to delve deeper into the Bible with you, exploring the spiritual nourishment it offers.

The catalyst for starting this blog was a life consulting course I took. Through this course, I gained valuable insights into emotional and relational health, which will greatly enhance the content I share. You can expect organized blog posts that build upon each other, offering a sequential journey of growth and self-discovery.

Now, I must clarify that I don’t possess fancy degrees in mental, physical, or spiritual health, nor do I claim to be an  expert, though I have studied nutrition in college and beyond, been facilitating inner healing sessions and Bible studies for many years and am taking ongoing life consulting classes to add to my skill growth. I consider myself a lifelong learner and an eager experimenter. My passion lies in continually seeking ways to optimize my well-being. I dive into research, learn about various subjects that catch my attention, and put my newfound knowledge to the test.

Before you dive into the captivating posts on my blog, let me share a bit more about the person behind the words. My name is Cendrine Hosoda, and I embrace the role of a lifelong learner, striving to become the best version of myself. I’m also a devoted wife, veteran homeschool mother of two teenagers, and a passionate cat lover. It’s not uncommon to find me engrossed in several books simultaneously, and a week without a new recipe in my house is a rarity. Born and raised in Switzerland, I’ve been living in the States for over 25 years now. Prior to embracing motherhood and homeschooling, I was a fully trained 1st-12th grade teacher. I find joy in expressing my creativity through various mediums, and on occasion, I even play the pan flute. Writing is my outlet for sharing the knowledge and wisdom I acquire along this journey, and I hope my blog leaves you inspired, encouraged, motivated, and renewed.
